My first official destination wedding shoot took place at the incredible Wynn Las Vegas—and it wasn’t just any wedding, it was my father’s! I’m beyond grateful that my dad and Miriam trusted me to capture such a special day, especially since they mean the world to me.
The day kicked off with a visit to the Salon at Wynn, where Miriam and her sisters toasted with mimosas while she had her hair and makeup done. The spa’s calm atmosphere and perfect lighting were a dream for detail shots. I even couldn’t resist snapping a few selfies thanks to the abundance of mirrors—couldn’t help myself, haha!
I love working in new environments, and while pristine venues are amazing, I enjoy the challenge of adapting to different spaces. The room suites where the bride and groom got ready had limited lighting, but with some creativity, angles, and adjusting, I captured some of my favorite dress and getting-ready shots ever!
Next, we headed to the Wynn’s stunning lobby with its breathtaking indoor garden, complete with a carousel and hot air balloon made entirely of flowers. Miriam and my dad had their first look there in a quiet, private moment before we moved on to the wedding venue. This setting was perfect for reveal shots, couples portraits, and family photos. The Wynn excels in details, and the backdrop was stunning—highly recommend! Shooting in big public spaces can be tricky, but with some flexibility, it allowed us to capture natural, authentic moments.
Then came the ceremony, which was especially meaningful. We made our way to a classic Vegas wedding chapel—complete with that old-school Vegas charm and even a little Elvis vibe! Miriam and my dad exchanged vows in a charming, intimate little white chapel. It was a joy to document their emotions during such a touching, private moment.
Afterward, we took those iconic Vegas chapel portraits and returned to Wynn for the reception at SW Steakhouse. Guests gave heartfelt speeches—some had me tearing up, while others made me laugh out loud! The food and drinks were absolutely top-notch—honestly, one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had.
Overall, I loved how relaxed and go-with-the-flow Miriam and my dad were throughout the day, making sure we got all the photos we wanted. I love you both so much! Congratulations!!!
