Hailey + Daniel’s Fun, Laidback Senior Couples Session in Quail Valley – Calallen

Seniors

This session was a special one for me—it was my first time photographing a high school couple, and I couldn’t have asked for a better duo than Hailey and Daniel! Hailey had already done a session with me last month at Heritage Park and Downtown Corpus Christi (you can check that out here), and she’s such a natural in front of the camera. This time, she wanted a more laidback, rustic vibe—so we headed out to a spot with tall grass, sprawling trees, and winding paths to get that relaxed, outdoor feel she was going for.

With Daniel along, this session had a whole different energy, and I loved it. They were so easygoing and fun-loving, and watching them interact made for some really authentic, candid shots. Hailey was definitely more relaxed this time around, especially when she was with Daniel. It was awesome to see how they interacted with each other and made each other laugh—it felt like I was just hanging out with them, capturing their personalities as they are.

We also got a few photos of Hailey with her parents, which were really special. Including family in senior sessions is always meaningful, and these images are ones I know they’ll cherish.

Some of my favorite shots were the on-the-fly moments—the ones where their personalities just shined through. You can’t plan those moments, but they’re the best kind. I really feel like I captured who Hailey and Daniel are, not just as a couple but as individuals too.

If you’re a senior, think about doing a session with your besties, teammates, or maybe even a couple session like Hailey and Daniel did! Senior year is such a fun time, and capturing those moments with the people who mean the most to you is something you’ll love looking back on. Whether it’s friends, teammates, or someone special, let’s plan something awesome!
