As a Corpus Christi graduation photographer, few things bring me more joy than helping clients celebrate incredible milestones—and Nikki’s graduation session was one I’ll never forget. Nikki is a dedicated 4th grade math and science teacher who recently graduated from Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi with her master’s degree in education administration. What an amazing accomplishment!
I first had the honor of photographing Nikki and her beautiful family during a fall family session (you can see more in the Schrank Family blog post), so it was extra special to be part of this next chapter in her journey.
We met at the TAMUCC campus for her graduate photo session, and it was the perfect day. The weather was gorgeous—bright skies and plenty of sunshine—with that signature bay breeze keeping us on our toes. That Corpus Christi wind added fun, natural movement to Nikki’s hair and gown, and we embraced it every step of the way.
We explored the Texas A&M University Corpus Christi campus together, from the modern architecture to the peaceful walking trails near the bay. Each location gave us a fresh backdrop to reflect Nikki’s vibrant personality and the hard work it took to earn her degree. There’s something about being on campus during a graduation session that brings so much energy—especially when it’s a place filled with personal meaning.
Nikki was absolutely glowing, and it was such a joy capturing her excitement and pride. This session was more than just TAMUCC graduate photos—it was a celebration of resilience, growth, and a deep passion for education. I know Nikki will go on to be an incredible leader in our schools, and I’m so proud of her.
Congratulations, Nikki! You did it! 🎓💙
